The Style
Villa Baja has been painstakingly constructed from aged timber and recycled floor tiles creating old-world ambience and charm. An eclectic decor blends colonial and Javanese furnishings with individual Chinese and Balinese pieces. Throughout the entire villa there are plenty of unique touches such as stained glass windows, old fashioned dressing tables and crafted wood work that indicate an appreciation of the past.

The Living Space
The living and dining environment merge together under a magnificently carved antique pavilion reminiscent of a bygone era. Encompassed by a fish pond, the area is slightly raised to expose views of Bali’s famous sunset and catch the fresh evening breeze that wafts up from the ocean.

The Bedrooms
Villa Baja has 3 air-conditioned main bedrooms, however up to eight adults can be accommodated comfortably in distinct sleeping quarters. Matching master bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom and dressing room are positioned at each end of the semi-open living environment. While a separate dwelling with a private lounging deck and kitchenette is located at the bottom of the garden. Alternatively, a timber traditional rice barn structure provides an additional sleeping space and is ideal for overnight guests.

The Kitchen
A fully equipment western style kitchen provides all necessary requirements for meal preparations. A second kitchenette is located down by the pool and is convenient for entertaining purposes. Breakfast is prepared complimentary every morning by in-house villa staff and other meals can be catered for upon request.

The Pool
An infinity edge swimming pool, complete with Jacuzzi, creates an illusion that you can swim out to the ocean beyond. It is edged by timber decking with loungers and umbrellas for relaxing moments spend soaking up rays of tropical sunlight.

The Services
The villa is serviced by a team of 5 staff who will take care of all housekeeping, gardening and pool maintenance duties. One staff member resides in a special unit located above the garage should the need arise for any additional duties. Security guards also patrol the outer boundaries of the villas throughout the night. All bedrooms are equipped with satellite television and an up-to-date library of popular films is maintained. There is always a pleasant breeze that greets the visitors of The Jewel, which is located in the secured estate called “crown of the isle”. This villa definitely deserves to be called The Jewel of the crown. It has four bedrooms, each in a different color scheme and named and designed around a jewel: emerald, ruby, blue sapphire and amethyst. This modern villa, designed by Bali’s star architect Popo Danes has all the amenities you can expect. It is the perfect place to stay with a large family. WALK THROUGH DESCRIPTION
Enter through main gate, offering space to park two cars. Step up to enter villa through double doors into living and dining area, offering 180-degree views of Bali from east to west. Lounge area capable of seating 8 guests and massive wooden dining table for 10. Behind dining area is the fully equipped main kitchen with separate wine fridge, separate beer and water fridge, extra large main fridge, dishwasher, free standing stove and oven, microwave. Secondary wet kitchen is accessible through door from main kitchen. From dining and living area descend to garden and overflow lap pool, with pooldeck and 4 deckchairs. From the garden you can access the emerald and ruby suites.

Access to the four air-conditioned bedrooms is from the dining area ascending a ramp to the first floor amethyst and sapphire suites or descending a ramp to the garden level emerald and ruby suites. The identically laid out master sapphire and emerald suites both feature fully marbled ensuite bathrooms with terrazzo bathtubs and walk-in closets. All bedrooms come with flat screen 21” TVs and DVD players, king-size bedrooms with mosquito nets, and wooden parquet floors. The bedrooms on the first floor have balconies with garden and island views.

From the dining area pass through sliding doors to a patio with the bale surrounded by a fish pond and offering great views over the island. From there, descend stairs to the fully air-conditioned media room and the fully private spa and massage room. The media room has a 43” TV and a library of DVDs as well as a stereo system. This television also features satellite TV with all the major channels.
