The interiors of each building have been fashioned carefully by local craftsmen using Balinese hardwoods, marble, and stone, and are furnished throughout with Chinese and Indonesian antiques, giving the property a distinct character and charm. Villa Bukit Naga is situated on the outskirts of Banjar Selat – a quiet, traditional Balinese village approximately twenty minutes east of Ubud, the cultural and artistic capital of Bali.

The estate overlooks a lush tropical valley in which the Sang Sang and Ayuverda rivers converge. It has views to the west of the slopes of three of Bali’s majestic volcanoes, and away to the East one can catch glimpses of the holy Mount Agung. Villa Bukit Naga is a perfect base from which to explore the many facets of this fabulous island. Expert guidance is always at hand to offer advice on all aspects of your holiday, from shopping and sightseeing to spiritualism and serenity.

Ubud boasts many fine restaurants (amongst these ‘Mozaic’ must rate as one of the finest eating establishments in the southern hemisphere) and also offers fantastic shopping, where jewellery, ceramics, paintings, traditional fabrics, and antique and reproduction Indonesian artifacts can be purchased at very reasonable prices.

To the East, the resort of Candi Dasa is a forty five-minute drive. An hour to the west lie the more popular sands of Legian or Canggu Beach and some very fine beachfront restaurants. For those wishing to explore further inland, the villa is ideally placed for trips to Kintamani and Lake Batur. Additionally the Bali Bird and Reptile Park is a thirty-minute drive away. White water rafting and an Elephant safari are also within easy reach of the villa.

Villa Bukit Naga sleeps a total of twelve guests in six spacious suites. There is a one-bedroom guest villa, a huge two-bedroom guesthouse, and the three-bedroom main house. All suites are fully air-conditioned and feature private dressing rooms and large marble bathrooms. Imposing hand-made two-meter square Balinese beds, luxurious cotton sheets, and fine denier mosquito nets ensure an excellent nights sleep. All bedrooms and bathrooms have telephone lines for IDD calls and in house calls.

The Main House
The two ground floor bedrooms are identical in size, and both feature indoor as well as outdoor showers set in an ornamental garden. There seems to be endless hanging space in the well-appointed dressing rooms, while individually controlled air conditioning units and powerful ceiling fans keep the rooms pleasantly cool. A double staircase leads up to the master suite, occupying the whole of the first floor of the house. Exquisite touches in the master suite’s interior design make it a very special place to stay. The bathroom and dressing room are very spacious, with a comfortable office and book library adjacent. There is direct access from the suite to a large open-air cocktail lounge and bar area with ample seating on Balinese sofas. Whether it be for sun-downers, snoozing, or a peaceful breakfast, this comfortable area affords spectacular views over the valley below.

One Bedroom Villa
This delightful suite is set a few meters from the Main House and sleeps two people in privacy and comfort. A large balcony looks over the lush jungle of the river valley below where guests often take breakfast, afternoon tea, or just a nap on the comfortable day bed. The dressing room and bathroom are tiled in green Javanese marble and lead out to a wonderful secluded garden with a ‘jungle Jacuzzi’. High walls surround the villa, making this suite the ultimate retreat for those seeking privacy and peace.

Two Bedroom Villa
Ideal for a family of four or two couples sharing, this two-story private house is the ultimate in self-contained luxury. The ground floor features the huge master suite, a marble floored living room, private bar and gymnasium. A hardwood spiral staircase leads up to the second bedroom, with a large balcony offering stunning views over the river valley and to the mountains beyond. This villa also features a private terrace and infinity plunge pool set in beautiful gardens.

Other Features
A fully equipped kitchen and resident chef ensure that our guests tastes and dietary requirements can be catered for. Menus feature Balinese and Western cuisine and meals can be served inside or outside the main house, or in the privacy of your villa. Bukit Naga boasts an extensive DVD and music library with over three hundred and fifty films and more than five hundred music CDs. Located in the Main House, the den has comfortable sofas, as well as the latest television, digital video and audio equipment.

The emphasis of this property is tranquility and relaxation. The villa employs an experienced full-time manager and a staff of ten (including a resident chef, a waitress, housekeepers, a driver, gardeners and a security guard).

Villa Casis Bali comprises of six air-conditioned bedrooms each with private bathroom en-suite. Tastefully designed and decorated, the rooms fuse modern with antique furnishings, wood parquet floors, artwork and safety deposit boxes. There are three bedrooms downstairs which feature semi open-air bathrooms with large terrazzo bathtubs. The three bedrooms upstairs have en-suite bathrooms with standing showers. Each bedroom features large glass sliding doors which open to a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Should you only require two or three bedrooms, we can offer a reduced rate.

The western designed kitchen is fully equipped with adjoining dining room which seats twelve people. The surrounding glass doors offer views to the entire villa and outside is a feature wall with cascading water allowing a perfect sense of tranquility. Choose from a selection of European or Indonesian cuisine from the villa menu, there are nine fully trained staff including security to ensure your stay is enjoyable.

Located upstairs is a spacious air-conditioned library with plasma television, cable television, DVD player and BOSE surround sound system with a 1200 title movie library. The library hosts the villas computer with internet an email access. Comfortable sofas make this the perfect room for relaxation.

The swimming pool (7 x 10 metres) is located in the middle of the property, allowing one to cool down from Bali’s warm climate. Villa Casis also offers private in-villa spa treatments. American breakfast is served daily along with afternoon tea.

The Living Room and Kitchen are open on the valley side and were designed to capture the amazing surroundings. The ceiling height is 9 Meters (30 Feet) and the floor space of the Living Room and Kitchen measures 120 Sq. Meters (1,300 Sq. Feet).

Master Bedroom & En-Suite Master Bathroom
The Master Bedroom measures 50 Sq. Meters (550 Sq. Feet) and has a very comfortable living area. The Master Bedroom is large and well appointed; it is practically an apartment within the villa.

The Master Bedroom is beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings, original artwork, Turkish area rugs and many objects dâ€™art. The floors are cream marble, the dÃ©cor is polished and the housekeeping is impeccable. You will be very comfortable staying in the Master Bedroom. And yes, breakfast can be served in your room.

The Master Bathroom was designed for those of you who enjoy the luxury of a long leisurely bath while listening to the gardenâ€™s waterfall and enjoying the pleasant glow from the candles of the aromatherapy burner. Ownerâ€™s Suite
The Ownerâ€™s Suite is a 95 Sq. Meter (1,050 Sq. Feet) private villa. It is luxurious, lavish and modern. Your stay in the Ownerâ€™s Suite will be supremely comfortable and private.

The Ownerâ€™s Suite is physically separated from Villa Montana being located at the front of the propertyâ€™s grounds on a landscaped island. Dense tropical vegetation and a Lily pond with waterfall visually and physically separate the Ownerâ€™s Suite from Villa Montana. The Ownerâ€™s Suite is very private and although close to the main entrance of Villa Montana, it feels quite removed from the main villa assuring your privacy. While the main villa offers an Ayung River Valley view, the Ownerâ€™s Suite has a rice field view from the study and a view of the Lily pond and waterfall from the living room.

The Ownerâ€™s Suite is ideally suited for two couples who wish to rent Villa Montana together. Both couples can enjoy the common areas of the main villa whilst the Ownerâ€™s Suite is separated from the main house allowing both couples a high degree of privacy when desired.

The Master Bedroom of Villa Montana and the Ownerâ€™s Suite are both luxuriously sumptuous accommodations sure to satisfy the most demanding types.

The Location
Villa Montana is located 30 minutes (20 KM or 12 Miles) north of the center of Ubud in the small village of Kerta. Kerta is rural, beautifully pristine and largely untouched by tourism. Villa Montana Bali is removed from the masses of tourists yet close to Ubud and all of itâ€™s amazing dining, spas and shopping. Ubud is a delight and widely considered by many to be the most charming village on the island. The 30 minute drive to Ubud from Villa Montana Bali is filled with charming small villages allowing you a glimpse of the daily mosaic of Balinese life, scenic rice fields and mountain views.
